About John H. O’Neil
Real estate and a passion for historic architecture have always been a part of me as I am originally from King’s Lynn, a 12th-century town on the east coast of England. Today, I am a long-time resident of Cambridge, formerly of Somerville, as well as a Vice-President at Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, Boston’s largest independent real estate company.
The Cambridge and Somerville areas are extremely diverse with a great number of distinct neighborhoods and buying or selling real estate here can pose its own specific challenges. As a local expert with over twenty years of experience I have worked with clients from many different countries and cultures and I provide a nuanced understanding of this unique real estate market. My steady, reliable approach has successfully managed the sale of hundreds of properties including luxury homes, condominium conversions, and investment properties. Additionally, where I have renovated my own Victorian property and am now a landlord and real estate investor, I am able to share my own personal experiences first hand with many of my clients, both past and present.
As a father of two children in the Cambridge Public Schools, I am deeply rooted in the local community. I have an athletic background having played Rugby, Soccer and Squash and bring a high level of energy and competitiveness to my business. I now enjoy Golf and learning to play Tennis.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions regarding real estate in Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Belmont, Watertown and the surrounding communities.
